The adhan comes first

Whatever is on the TV, at prayer time the adhan takes over. You don't have to do anything.

1You are watching
Netflix, a film, football or a TV channel. Or the TV is off, in standby.
2Prayer time
The TV comes out of standby by itself, whatever was playing pauses, and the adhan fills the screen.
3Prayer break
A calm countdown stays over everything, so nobody keeps watching.
4Back to normal
The TV is free again and the film stays paused until you press play. If the box was in standby, it goes back to standby.

Set the prayer break your way

Choose how long the prayer break lasts. You set it the first time in the setup and change it any time under Settings › Adhan.

5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes, or Off
During the break the TV can't be used and other sound stays off
In a hurry? Hold OK for 3 seconds to end it early
Choose for each prayer whether the adhan plays at all
